Pelvic Massage

Pelvic massage [aka Mercier massage therapy] is for women with reproductive tract adhesions. These adhesions act like glue disrupting the function of affected organs. massage involves gentle stretching to loosen tightened areas of soft tissue this is continued until the tension is released decreasing the adhesions.

Building a solid foundation and core is a healthy, non-invasive solution to many fertility problems, and pelvic massage is a common-sense approach to increasing your chance of conceiving (while also improving your overall health). This program can be used as a stand-alone regime, or as a complement to medically-assisted reproductive technologies.

(Note: This massage technique is done abdominally and requires NO vaginal work.)

Pelvic massage has proven to help the following issues:

  • Infertility
  • Persistent pelvic pain
  • Sexual function issues
  • Appendicitis, gastritis, other abdominal inflammations
  • Pelvic Scarring or adhesions from previous surgery
  • Endometriosis
  • Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome
  • Sexual Abuse trauma
  • Anovulation  (menstrual cycle during which the ovaries do not release an oocyte)
  • Amenorrhea  (the absence of a menstrual period in a woman of reproductive age)

Mercier Massage Therapy

Mercier Massage Therapy is a technique used to help restore the health and general well-being within the female pelvis.

This gentle and non-invasive technique was created to help you to reconnect to your divine feminine and to allow your pelvis, a highly emotional space, to re-open to healing and balance.

Chronic pelvic pain can be debilitating and difficult to handle on a daily basis. Typically pelvic pain can occur within the structures surrounding the female reproductive organs such as the urinary bladder, bowel, musculature, ligaments and bones. Also, pain could be coming from the reproductive organs themselves.

Women who have dealt with any of the following may suffer from pelvic pain

  • Pelvic surgery of any kind such as laparoscopy, laparotomy, D&C, LEEP, abortion, cystocele or rectocele repair, c-section, bladder sling or hysterectomy
  • Vaginal childbirth
  • Sexual abuse trauma
  • Urinary tract or yeast infection
  • Endometriosis

Mercier Massage Therapy was developed by Jennifer Mercier Ph. D. in order to give women a more natural choice when it comes to infertility challenges as well as relief from pelvic pain and discomfort.
